The recent discussion of Larken SW prompted me to go take a look-see.
Frankly what seemed more interesting was their HW. I had thought they
just made turn-key routers, but it seems that they sell their control
products separately.
In particular, their 8A 90V stepper driver board seem priced comparably
to gecko, but possibly is more robust electrically and thermally, if
not as sophisticated electronically. And offers a on-board serial
option.
Does anybody have any experience with this stuff?
Incidentially, they do offer a 3-cards-in-one-box-with-power-supply
package, as some have been urging Mariss to do, but it seems to come
WITH isolation transformer. And it comes w/ SW, presumably with the
virtues and limitations already noted.
