What is the area and weather like where the machine will be located?
And have you done this type of machining before, or is this all new?
The difference is only 19 bucks(Canadian). You will easily spend more
time ON the parts than this difference. Unless you need to do some
learning first, I'd suggest the SS...

P.S. At the end of your note, did you mean "nuts", where you said
bolts? Bronze or plastic nuts are commonly used with acme threaded
rod.
