Since the bondo is put in a plastic bag, it won't stick to the part. Once
the part is done, all you need to do is machine or chip it enough to get it
to fall out.

I learned this little trick in firearms engraving class. It works well for
machining small thin parts. Another solution would be to fill the cavity
with cerrosafe in between cuts. This is a metal that melts at about 140
degrees or so. Then only problem with it is it's expensive. So if you
chose to use it, you'd want to save all the chips from the job, put them in
a pan for melting and pour off the cerrosafe for reuse.

I like the cerrosafe technique for machining small complicated parts where
the cerrosafe doesn't need to be machined and/or where the plastic bag trick
won't work. Just imbed the part, machine and melt the cerrosafe. It also
provides greater stability plus a better means of gripping the part.
