I need assistance in using TurboCNC under Windows XP. Windows 98 has a
provision for starting up in the DOS only mode, but I have not found such a
feature in XP. I have only found provisions for opening TurboCNC in what
appears to be a DOS window. When opened in a DOS window TurboCNC does not
communicate with the controller (Camtronics 2A, 3-Axis. In the setup
section, TurboCNC lists three parallel port address, and I have tried them
all. None work.
My questions are: 1) How do I run TurboCNC under Windows XP? and 2) If it
cannot be done, is there an alternative to TurboCNC that will run under
Windows XP?
TIA
