I'm not sure about the Arrik driver....But I do KNOW that I drive 5V
1A steppers useing a unipolar driver WITH "ballast" resistors (25R 25W in
this case) to control the current to the steppers. They "come alive" at this
voltage! Ialso know that you should'nt over "amp" the steppers as this
causes it to de-magnetize.
As far as a power supply...I've built my own "linear" type that is
variable from 24V to 32V and outputs at 8A draw! All not that
expensive...Under $60... shopping around! Check with me for your specific
needs.. I may be able to help!
