Any comments on an ENCO mill retrofit?

Hi, I'm new to this group, and the USA.
I'm looking to retrofit my 9x42 enco mill to CNC. I have read some
of the posts and tried to follow up on some of the mentioned
suppliers, so far without much success. Rockford Ball Screw '.. no
longer supply screw sets for ENCO mills. There is too many problems
with using the existing housings.'
Any one who has done a conversion care to share their experiences.
