I've used Compumotor servos at work for 24x7 applications. They are quite
reliable, and can be quite stiff. (I once used one of their M series 23
frame motors and thought that it would take your arm off rather than stall)
Once wired into the system, you don't even think of the higher voltage.

|even at $150 each, these driver/amps are pretty beefy... i mean
|170vdc on the bus for a single motor is pretty high for most of the
|cnc apps i'm sure some of these guys would want to do... that's just
|my opinion though...
