Hi, well i am not sure of the shortcommings, but i had Desknc for dos, and
it does just that, reads g-code and drives step/direction..Master5 runs in
windows 95/98/ does the g-code thing, but also 4 axis/ability for 4 control
lines for spindle/flood/coolant etc, does all the g-codes and it can import
files, and do engraving of pictures. That feature is the one i need. I make
wood boxes and the tops wood look great with an engraving on top.
I will still use Desknc in dos since i have another frame same as the cnc i
am using now. It will be setup to multiple part work. I have a bunch of HP
vectra computers (486) that are durable for dos work. Cul Brian f.
