Thanks for the help
The Motor has three black wires and one red. I will
check continuity to the 4 brushes when I get home.
The tach and encoder are both labeled , So I think I
know how to hook them up.
I just want to get the motor
running and see if it is ok. It was sitting outside
for a year or two mounted on the robot and got kind of
rusty. It is in an explosion proof case ( totaly enclosed)
and the brushes and bearings look good.
It seems hard to turn by hand, but
it moves with a pliers but feels tight. I think it just
needs a bit of run-in after sitting.
