I made a router bracket for my new Makita 2.25hp router this morning and
gave it a test run.
I like it. First of all it is very quiet when it is not cutting. I think
that their calme of being the quietest in their class is correct.
When cutting, it performed very well. I was engraving 1/2" corian type
material with my 60 deg V cutter. I made three passes at 100 IPM (3/16"
spiral cutter) to cut it out which is what I do with my 3.25hp Porter Cable.
The chips were very nice and it gave a clean cut.
