This refers to the Vector Stack function. You create an object and
it is duplicated in the specified rows and columns on a sheet,
specifying the needed sheet size, or you can specify the sheet size
and it will calculate the needed rows and columes. Margins are
adjustable in X and Y and around the periphery, selection order is
controllable.

With a little drawing manipulation you can get "most" of the
available material optimized. Since Vector is good at these
functions, it works pretty well. You end up playing "what if?" with
the undo and repeat functions.

However it does not process a parts list of shapes, control grain
direction and automatically put small parts inside donut holes.

I have a standing request for a developer to produce a program (to my
specs) that we can market with full nesting capbility.

So far no takers. Other products available are quite expensive if
they work well($1000 up to about $12000). Unless you are in large
scale production or cutting gold sheet, it is hard to justify the
expense. There are several that work only with rectangular shaped
parts, like found in boxy wood cabinets.
