Rehabilitate Sherline CNC Machines

I have a D&M 3 lathe and a spectraLIGHT Mill, both using Sherline
lathe and Mill respectively.
The machines appear to be complete except for the Computer Interface
cards.
D&M have gone out of business.
Light Machine wants $600+ for their card.
Has any one an idea about how I can connect these machines to my
computer?
The D&M Lathe has a 9 pin din connector.
The spectraLIGHT Mill has a 25 pin din connector.(Same as parallel
port)
