Have you tried CFM5 ?

Cute little program. Wish it would go further than it does especially in
regards any DXF input.

At freeware it seems pretty proffesional. I think though as I recall it is
only a 2 d program, I forget.

Somebody contact the creator and encourige him to update it !!
