I think it was the Mazak Integrex as shown in the first picture of this
article (nice long URL)

or it could have been the Index machine in the second picture
now that I reread the article it dosent seem to mention the aplication
I described at all so it may have been partly my own imagination as well

but I can see how it COULD be done with one of these machines :-)

and I can see a few other ideas from them that could be done ,maybe just one
at a time ,at the more advanced hobbie levels (food for thought)
