Just to be really cruel I tried it on a 6x86MX 266 with 32M ram and a fresh
install of W2k.

I got a message box titled "control" saying "No driver, exiting". If I click
on OK I get a message box titled "master5" saying "The RPC server is
unavailable", which won't go away.

location. Win2K has problem with long filenames in its driver install API's.
