Yep, I use it every day. Plug my Mac laptop into a 21" monitor, keyboard
and mouse. Execute a macro which rearranges everything for this config
vs. regular laptop screen and away I go. Very handy for keeping your
drawing separate from tool palettes. I use VectorWorks on the Mac.
They also have a PC version. Much easier and more intuitive to use
than AutoCAD/Autoxxx IMHO.
