Hi,
To answer the question: what do you do when you are using a
UPS BACKUP while you are running a long CNC program ,do you go back
to the N001 LINE? Well in my case,I am using micro's mill
program, which does not have the option in the program for cursor up
or down to start at the nearest ending block. Those that use EMC can
go where they stop the program, and resume the nearest N LINE, I don't
know about all the other HOBBY CNC promgrams,so I can not make any
clames what they can do. On the full size CNC LATHES such as FANUC,
YOU can go to the nearest block and restart the program after you
send the machine to HOME POSITION. And as on any machine hobby or
full size, you should send the machine to HOME POSITION TO CLEAR ANY
ERRORS THAT HAPPEN WHEN THE POWER GO OUT,EVEN WITH UPS BACKUP!
