Does anyone use the Porter Cable 7518 Speedmatic Router?
I am ordering one of these but I need to know the exact size
of the motor- particularly the length and exact diameter
of the machined lower part of the motor that slides in to the base. I know
it is about 4.2"d x 5" length.
I wanted to chew out the bracket for it today for mounting
on the cnc and I can't seem to get that data easily from PC.
For metal working I will be using a shop made belt driven
spindle with angular contact bearings and ER collet.
If anyone has one of these routers- could you please take
a micrometer and measure those dimensions for me?
Thanks
Les
