DC,

I just connected my Bandit I to my computer and works great. You
first need the 28Amp connector, since I did not have it; I replaced
the wiring to a 25D connector. You need to tie pins 15,17, and 24.
Tie also 10, 16, and 23. Then you can use this port as a standard
rs232. Communication is at 110-baud 7bit.
