FREE HP Plotter for Parts

I was waiting until I had an appropriate shipping container before I made this offer. Is anyone willing to trade an HP Plotter for good karma?

It's an industrial kind of XY data plotter that I bought from 3M when I worked there. I don't know if it ever worked - I was planning on cannibalizing it for parts and began to take it apart when I took the plunge for a complete CNC kit. The size is approximately 24" x 18" with a metal case. A nice resistive grid on top of a thick metal plate with some good motors and switches. Enough selling, this thing is free.....

I ask that you pay for shipping and that you will use this for parts (no implication on my part that this thing has all the cables and parts and will work as a plotter). If you can get it to work, great.

This could probably be hacked for a CNC PCB machine.

Someday I hope to be able to contribute more to this group than FREE this or that, but I hope my offerings to the CNC gods will be acceptable for now.
