Sirs:
I have read the threads about caps for a couple days feel I should
say something. Unless electronics has changed radically in the past
few years...
In equipment for harsh environment or high reliability we always use
the next larger size for resisters or caps. I have seen some
temperture relationships with both at around 300 deg C. and on
occassion had to compensate for stability. So, I would reccommend a
100 VDC capacitor for a 50 VDC application. I have never seen ANY
adverse effect or degradation with this use.
