Hi Folks!
Bill asked me to do this awhile ago,so here goes.
Anybody that wants to discuss GENERAL machine shop
topics,CNC,etc, etc. Please feel free to post at
the Jobshophomeshop group at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jobshophomeshop/
The jobshophomeshop group was started mainly to
discuss subjects that are considered "off topic"
on this list. Of particular interest to me, are topics
involving Job pricing,quoting,setups,programming,etc.
This is in addition to retrofits using commercial CNC
controls, and PC based CNC controls, and industrial
electronic repair. You get the idea.
Hey, go there and read the description!
And please promote the group when ever and where ever
it is appropriate. We need more input from commercial
job shop owners, AS WELL AS the hobby metal shop
folks.
The topics can be wide ranging, thus letting this list
focus better on "NEAR free CNC" and it's development
(man I like the sound of THAT)!! So, stop over, look
around, argue nicely (NO fist fights or foul language)
and HAVE FUN.
Thanks, and thanks to Bill
