Any idea what the overhead would be if you were to attempt to go this route
(runnning Linux with an emulator - either one for DOS or Windows - and then
try to execute a CNC g-code interpreter)? Would you expect that we'd see the
same problems with running a DOS program with the Windows environment being
active?

|that is not loaded unless you ask for it. But, if you are looking

|software, there is not a whole lot available right now. There are

|emulators like Wine, and virtual machine packages like VMWare, that let you
|run Windows software on the same computer as Linux.
