Hello friends excuse me the OT post but that is interesting.
The world oldest light bulb became 100 years old and it is a continuous
duty bulb!

Oldest bulb of the world burns for 100 years San Francisco, 8 June

bulb, which got over 1906 the large earthquake of San Francisco and
the energy
crisis of the last months without prejudice to, has on Friday their
100. Birthday
celebrated. To honours of the 4 Watts the city invited strong pear,
which
continuously lights up a fire station in Livermore (US Federal
State California)
since 1901, to a party with music, parades and responding. After
the Guinness
book of the records is the handblown bulb the oldest burning pear
of the world.
Only 1976, with the removal into a new fire station, were at short
notice switched
off it, in order to then do immediately again around the clock
their service. The
power failures of the last months could not even wear it somewhat.
It is attached
to the emergency power generator of the fire-brigade. The
amber-yellow light of
the historical bulb lured already numerous visitors from all world
after Livermore.
