Re: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] LONG floppy drive cable source

You can buy twisted pair ribbon cable fairly inexpensively that goes a long
way to reducing noise in long cable runs. This will work OK for an IBM PC
type of floppy interface as every second wire is a ground. The cable has a
flat section every 18" or so where you can crimp on the standard insulation
displacement connectors. 20' on a floppy cable is way out of spec though.
Most interfaces that run this distance use a differential signal. If your
computer supports it I would consider a USB floppy instead.
