Newbie intro./do you read me?

Hi -

New to the list - just firing it up for the first time.

A short introduction:
I work for Walt Disney Imagineering as a special effects designer. For
the past 5 years or so, some friends and I have been (slowly) working on
a kit plane. I've finally gotten tired of bringing the airplane to the
office, so to speak.... so I've decided to move a mill into the garage.

I'm considering a Mill/Drill Conversion similar to Jeff Daniels'.
Tomorrow is ENCO purchase day.... (!!!)

Soon I'll be looking for leads on affordable ball screws - any any good
tips on that subject.
