Motor ramp

Hello Folks,
I just wanted to pass the saint.
I have to "certify" a flow control equipment for a inverter driven
regulation pump.
At the moment the pump cavitates frequentlly. I found out that the FUZZY
PID regulator didn't have a ramp assigned on the output. So each
frequency correction speeds up the pump like hell and the pump starts
cavitating for quite a while until the operator notices the cavitation
and closes a valve.
Well tomorrow I will look what happens when I limit acceleration with
the ramp. Than the US designer will ow me a couple of pints.
