When we install the 3.5kw laser we fit we specify a 150 amp supply on
the wall.
First thing we check, no 150 amp supply, no installation.
This is needed for the laser, power supply, material handing gear and
extraction unit.
In the early days they would only wire in for 100 amp and we would be
going back all the while on serice calls. Remember this is 150 amp at
440v so converted to 220 volt you are talking about a 300 amp supply.
That's also per machine.
