Parajust VFD components and service info

OK.... here is something that might be of interest to
some people out there (but only if you are a little
sadistic!)

I've got an old VFD that was removed from a Hurco
milling machine. This is a 1980's vintage Parajust VFD
that must weight about 50 pounds. It does not work, to
the best of my knowledge. It has tons of boards, with
individual driver boards (and if I thought about it I'd
have kept a second one that I threw out today). There
are also some pretty beefy transformers and capacitors
(some of which I did keep from the original setup). And
here are two LARGE SCRs (I think), with a gate input.

I have the schematics and full maintenance notes on
these units.

From my perspective this stuff is TOTALLY out of date.
By the same token, there are some people out there who
seem to want to convert UPS supplies, etc, either for
learning purposes or God knows why. Sooo.... I though I
would ask the group before I chucked the second one. If
there is someone looking for some parts, including some
huge electrolytic capacitors (OK, I know there is a
bunch of question as to the usability of a 20 year old
electrolytic can) please contact me off list. I don't
want to inundate the list with this stuff, but seeing as
it is from a CNC and relates to a CNC, the post seems
fine to me. Plus, someone may want the transformers for
some project (no specs available, to speak of).

Unfortunately it isn't entirely free. First, there is
postage you must consider. I am in Sunnyvale, CA
(94087). Second, I would appreciate some form
of "motivational help" (money) to make packing this
stuff up and carting it to the PO worth my time. We can
work this out so everone is happy. My primary goal is
to recycle this to a someone who wants to tinker. I
hate throwing things away!

Oh, there are also some 60 amp fuses with nice bakelite
mounting blocks for those interested in some serious
current limiting!

Can take a picture of the notable parts if you want...

Let me know quick! I'm tired of tripping over this!

P.S. I replaced all this with a 4x5x10 brick that
weighed about 7 pounds! Very nice GE unit. Will post
pictures when done.
