Hi,
I see several has respoded to this. ( this time :)
Thanks, - It seems like "PC Anywhere" is maybe the best ?
I have - long time ago - looked a bit on the ATX and VNC, - but now I don't
remember much of it at all.
The main thing, - is that it has to be able to run as scripts on a linux box,
and if I remember it correctly - I did find some flaws in the above two
options, - I don't know about PC Anywhere - what calls is available, - but I
thougt it was most under a Win GUI ?
ExitWin ( The one Hans made ) - is close, if you just can get a rlogin
shell, or simeliar on a Win/Dos box.
Marshall wrote some possible solutions, but also told the downsides about it.
As I said, - it should run as a small script command on a linux box, and
hopefully use some easy programs like smbclient. It was my mistake to think
that - if you only got it on a command line, - it would work. But smbclient -
can send a winpopup message. Maybe it is possible to "hack" the winpopup
program ? Does anyone know what port the winpopup program listen on ?
( then connect it to Hans's program ?)
