Hi Tom,
I have exactly the same problem with Master5 and my Camtronics 5AMP boards.
I cannot get smooth operation using Master5 no matter what I do to the
configuration with the Camtronics 5AMP drivers. I get somewhat smoother
operation with my CMD-260 drivers but they are configured for 2000 step per
rev micro stepping which may help. I get reasonable motion with a single
axis, but I cannot get it to machine a circle at all. I suppose I don't
have enough computer to make it run correctly, but my 266 MHz shop computer
runs EMC, DeskNC and TurboCNC just fine. I have other things in the shop
that I can spend $$$ on before I purchase a shop computer that is faster
than my general use PC. And for those that would tell me to put the new
machine in the house and the current one in the shop, Master5 does not run
correctly on my dual 450 Pentium machine, and neither does the BDI version
of EMC.
