Hi all,
I have asked this question previously on Usenet, but am still looking
for more opinions, before I spend what to me is a mountain of money. I
need a small CNC mill to make some 110*100*50mm aluminium casings. I
have been offered a DENFORD TRIAC PC for £4000 and a Bridgeport
Interract II with Heidenhain TNC145 for £3700, alothough the Bridgy will
need a £600 phase converter to get up and running in my shop.
Does anyone here have any views, especially on how good the Denford is.
Some people say they are educational use only, others say you can do
good work with them. I'd like to here from people who have used these
machines. Lastly, does anyone have any ideas where else to look for a
cheap CNC mill in the UK?
Regards, Peter Moreton
