EMC Scaling problem

We have installed EMC ,(using BDI) on a Bridgeport Mill and are
evaluating performance on a single axis before proceeding into a
complete retrofit.

Positioning is accurate and repeatable and respone satisfactory
however scaling is off by 10,
A command ,manual or MDI, of one 1 inch will produce an
displacement of 0.1 inch,etc..

Calculated INPUT_SCALE is 1000 from 200 steps per revolution, 5
revolutions/inch.

We have reviewed all available sources of information with no luck. Any
help would be appreciated.
