Hi Dave,

I use a system that works VERY well on my 6M machines. It is a DOS based
program that outputs via the Printer port and you make up a cable db25 one
end and the 'Big Blue' connecter on the tape drive unit on the other end.
No electronic box to stuff up, just pure software. I have drip fed very
large files (12 hours machining time) and I have never had a problem. You
just need to be careful making the cable up because there is a 24volt
terminal on the tape reader, and you really don't want this to go back
through the printer port, or worse still back into the NC unit.
If you want to know more, contact me off list and I can give you the
details.

Andrew
