Taig servo machine on the way!

Hi folks,
I placed an order with Super-tech for a servo taig (large machine).
Please dont confuse this servo machine with the max_nc cl system.
Please take a look at there site (supercam) for information.
Ill keep ya all informed when the machine gets here .
Dennis has it running at 60 ipm rapid!!!!!
He tested the machine running some plates that he makes for his
products.

I like the supercam controller software.
I have the demo , it works great but is limited in g code.
I will be trying to convert to mach1 and or cncpro soon.
I am an old guy that needs his fix..... (I'm a gcode junkie).
Dennis did mention that he is adding more gcode this week.
If he just gets my g92 I will just keep the supercam.
I will be using this machine in production cutting G10 circuit board
material. I dont really need 3d machining ect as some folks do here.
It will just be precision cut outs ect in 2d.

I will also be looking into real ball screws for the machine. I have
located 1/2 and 3/8 dia screws. I feel the rapid can be increased to
100 imp or so with ball screws. They have less drag so this should be
posible.

Now we need a tool changer. It would be sweet to have a 4 position
bonnet style automatic tool changer. This style is very reliable.
They are slower than the arm style changers but very simple to build.
What would you pay for a small machine with a tool changer and 100
imp of rapid? I feel the positioning on the machine could be .001 in
12 inches with just a simple adjustable rolled screw.

We have been in search of the right machine for a while.
I have had the max_nc cl model, Master cnc (a few years back).
These are great machines for certain purposes. They just dont fit in
for our requiements.
I have GREAT hopes for this machine. I have looked through the
archives and was very impressed.

Ill keep you all informed!
My rant here is to see if I can get help if needed when converting to
the other (cncpro and Mach1) controllers. I am a rookie at this!
