A couple of years ago I retrofitted two milling machines for a guy here in
Maryland. He's decided to buy a new Haas machining center and wants to sell
his old machines. Both are in running condition, so if you're one of those
folks who "just wants to make parts" rather than "spend all your spare time
learning about electronics", then this may be what you're looking for. One of
them is this Bridgeport Series 1:

The other is a Wells-Index with DC brush servos (0.0001 basic resolution),
ballscrews, about 30" x 12" x 5" travel. I'll try to post some pictures of
this one soon.
Both machines are Universal Kwik-Switch and come with a few toolholders.
Asking price is $6000 each or $11,000 for the pair.
