servo components for a bridgeport retrofit ??

good day all,

can anybody advise me on a suitable component package that will
enable me to retro-fit a bridgeport series 1 for use with dc
servo drives. i wish to use gecko drives as i have had really good
support and luck in using them,but motors and other things i'm really
not versed in their uses yet.any advise will be greatly apprecited.
