Question on power supply

I bought a 24V 10A power supply at an electronic surplus it is a
MPS3000A slo-syn from Superior Electric Company. My
question is that the instructions state that it is a ferroresonat
supply and recommends a minimum load of l amp to be applied
to the output at all times.
I have the Camtromics 2A driver and to test the board I need to
hook up the power supply but without steppers. How can I
satisify the one amp minimum for the power supply until I am
through testing and have all stepper motors in place.
