Will trade big manual mill for little one

I purchased a couple of milling machines, intending to convert them, at the
recent International Machine Tool Show in Chicago. I was intending to
convert one of them to CNC, but I find I am more interested in playing with
the CNC software at the moment. I would be interested in trading one of
these manual mills for something that already has motors and drivers. It
could be a mini-mill, Sherline, or anything else that will do step and
direction based on TTL printer port outputs.

These are both in the 700 to 800 lb weight range and have dovetailed ways,
not round columns. They are gearbox driven and on some decent stands. Both
are R8 with 1.5 hp motors. One also has a power downfeed system and is
single phase. The other is three phase which would be much better if you
wanted to go to variable speed with a VFD drive. These are things that
normally sell for $1600 to $2200 new. The machines are located near
Madison, Wisconsin. I have an overhead lift arrangement so we can get them
onto a flatbed trailer, but I do not have a loading dock. They are in my
garage.

By the way, if anyone is looking to move machinery, U-Haul rents a really
nice flatbed trailer with a 2700 lb capacity for only $30 per day. That's
how I got the mills and my new 12" lathe back from the IMTS show.

If you're interested, let me know what you have for trade. I might also
consider an outright sale but I would probably do that through Ebay, unless
somebody was pretty persuasive.
