Hi Dave!
I routinely use NetMeeting along with Proshare to provide distance
consultations and training to my clients for over 6 years. I outfitted my
CNC System with full video conferencing capability for remote instruction.
I also use it to record what I am doing as I do it so that I can play back
what was done. I hope to start writing some tutorials for CAD/CAM/CNC to
share what I am learning. These tools work well.
For screen sharing and limited audio, you can get by with a low latency
dial-up connection. Broadband (CABLE/DSL) is best if you can get it.
You can see my CNC/Video Netmeeting setup at http://www.ica.com/CNC
For further discussion on this topic, Feel free to contact me off list.
