RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Linux EMC questions

Yes, EMC can do 4 axis control, even up to 6 axis control. The real
question from my current experience is what is the 4th axis? If it is an
angular axis then the current releases of EMC that are shipped as part of
the BDI (brain dead install) version do not handle angular axis correctly.
If however you treat it the same as any other axis then it will work just
fine. I prefer to run my 4th axis rotary table as angular so that poses
problems for me in the current versions of EMC. Someone may have a fix for
this or may be working on a fix but I have not heard about it.
