I might mention that while there is no polarity to a resistor there is an
order to the colors. With gold or silver (most common) on the right end you
read the resistance value left to right. First 2 colors representing numbers
and 3rd color being a multiplier. Last color, gold or silver, being the
tolerance percent, IIRC. BBROYGBVGW - Bad Boys Ra....Black, brown, red,
orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, grey, white = 0 - 9. Sorry, don't
remember the multipliers.
