Well, with the motor directly hooked to the 46 V power source, you'd get
3000 RPM.
For 2000 RPM, you'd get 1024 pulses from the encoder (assuming this is
really a
256 cycle/rev encoder) x 2000/60 = 34133 counts/second. Can your
computer generate
34,133 step pulses per second? If that is really a 1024 cycle/rev
encoder, then you'd
need 136533 steps/second! What modulation percentage can the Gecko
320go to?
Probably not 100 %. The 1233 RPM (no load) is 20.55% of rated, so it is
equivalent
of .2055*90 = 18.495 V on the armature. That sounds pretty bad. Maybe
you need
more gain in the Gecko, or more pulses/second out of the computer.
