I have a Bridgeport Series I with the original steppers. I have replaced
the original (working) Boss 6 controller (all of which is for sale, contact
me off-list. I hate to junk it) with an Ahha RC-500 (12 amp) and Artisan (I
have 3.x and 4.x).
I have it up and running but before I start fine tuning, can someone running
a tuned (i.e.: you feel you've got it going as fast as practical)
B-port/RC-500/Artisan setup send me a copy of their settings? I'm
particularly interested in the amps/phase, microstep mode setting on the
RC-500 as well as the min/max speeds, ramp values, etc. for each axis as
well as any other non-PC particular timing vales (an Artisan parameter
printout would be good).
Cheers,
Chuck Hackett
