RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Need software to transform Point Cloud to S urface

Go into rhino and choose

File->Import/Merge

In the 'files of type' combo box at the bottom of the file dialog, choose
'Point File'... find your file and open it.

This should work, but it ultimately depends upon on the format of your
files... I use comma seperated values, x,y,z... one set per line.

This should bring in all your points. Then select all the points and
choose:

Surface->Patch

This will create a surface that fits (as good as possible) through all the
points.

There are many parameters to this command, looking up the command in help is
highly recommended.
