Try using an old freezer or fridge compressor, they will produce 150 psi with ease and are quiet. You will need a pressure switch, available from most compressor supplies and also a receiver of some sort like a gas bottle. The more air you want the bigger you go with the fridge motor.
I am using one for a tail-stock tool-changer on a CNC lathe.

A bit off-topic, but does anyone know where I can buy a small
(quiet !!) compressor with a small storeage cylinder for home /
hobby use.
