And one of our resident Guru's, Mariss, has been good enough to put a
circuit in the files section that will monitor the voltage and when
you shut everything off, the circuit will kick in and reduce the
potential in the caps.

I am not sure if I follow your question on fuseing the motor grounds.

your main power supply should be fused to the limit of your expected
amp load.

if you want to fuse each driver, follow the manufactureres
directions. if: Gecko's REQUIRE the addition of a 470uF cap on the
input terminals if there is a fuse inbetween the Gecko and PS.

Again, amp rating is total amp load plus whatever rounded up value
you need to get a stock fuse.
