There is a calculator on the Danahar Kollomorgen web site that you can
down load that has many conversion charts for loading that might be helpfull.
I have a small Haas and I believe it uses THK linears the rail is only about
one inch square and they are about a foot apart from each other making a very
rigid and accurate machine in the 5 to 7 hp range. I dont know how to
calculate it but I now that works ;) .
