Al,

This group is designed to help each other, but it is all on a volunteer
basis and your response below will go a long way to make sure no one
wants to spend the time helping you. Your sarcasim in your reply is very
much unacceptable on this group and has served to get you back onto
moderated status until you can prove you will act decently. Being asked
if you can't figure it out from the .pdf is a very valid response to
your question. It would have been far better for you to simply explain
what it is in the .pdf that does not make sense to you than to attack
the person asking the questions.

I have never used the circuit, but did just take a look at the file. It
seems pretty straight forward. O1 and O2 are both optos so all you are
doing is connecting the input of one opto (O1) to your enable pin and
either ground or +5 depending upon how you want to wire it. The norm for
connecting an LED to a power source is to use a current limiting
resistor appropriate for the LED (an opto is just an LED on the input
side). On the other opto (O2) you are on the output side and just need
to connect it directly to your input state pin and a common (again
either ground or +5 depending upon what you want to do). Like most all
of Mariss's schematics it is quite clear.

Now if you don't understand some of the basic electronics try posting in
a humble manner that you need help with the basics and you will likely
get a far better response. Just be specific about what you don't
understand. For instance saying I don't know how to connect my computer
to an opto isolator will get you much further than just saying you can't
figure it out. CNC is a complex subject and you need a lot of basic
knowledge in many areas. We can help with some of it on this group, but
just demanding that we tell you know to do it will get you nowhere.
