The above circuit card has 5 'personalities' it can be ordered
with.... as I mentioned you want the 40KHz autoranging version.

Thus the circuit measures and displays counts/second which
equals revs/sec if there is one count/rev.

If you want rpm, I guess you have to multiply by 60 in your
head (ie a display of 50 indicates 3000 rpm).

However, I've contacted Frank (the manufacturer in Australia)
before, he is very accomodating. I'll ask if he wants to put
together a 'rpm display' version vs the available 'rps display'.
